Broncos 2014 Needs

Now we have seen three great FA acquisitions the needs for the team from the 2014 draft are more clear and I believe they are:

Left Guard - I'm no fan of moving Franklin there and having Clark (an okay back-up player at best) starting at Right Tackle, so my first round draft choice (and immediate starter) would be David Yankey (6'6" / 315 / Stanford). I'd also like a decent back up taken in the 7th round - Ryan Groy (6'5" / 320 / Wisconson).

Wide Receiver - I'm hoping someone will come through from the practice squad / future contract lists to join (maybe Greg Wilson) but I'd also like a large / fast target for Manning. My second round choice would be Martavis Bryant (6'4" / 211 / Clemson).

Linebacker/s - I would take two with my third and fourth picks Yawin Smallwood (6'2" / 246 / Connecticut) AND Christian Jones (6'3" / 240 / Florida State) and I believe they could also be day one starters along with Miller - with back-up/ competition from Irving, Trevathan and McCray.

Free Safety - TJ Ward will start as the SS and I'd like some competition for Moore and Ihenacho so would use my fifth round pick for Dontae Johnson (6'2" / 200 / North Carolina State).

Center - I'd contemplated a higher pick to replace Ramirez but I have opted for competition for him by choosing Tyler Larsen (6'4" / 312 / Utah State) as my sixth round pick.

As mentioned above I would take LG Ryan Groy in the seventh.
