1st off, it was a great pleasure to watch CHAMP play for the last 10 seasons. What a great joy it was to know that half the field was dead to the opposing offense. Good luck, and if the Broncos don't make it to the Super Bowl next year, I'll be routing for #24 to get his CHAMPionship!!!I just have a couple of ideas to start this offseason with. 1- Could we resign Woodyard and move him to Safety? He played there at Kentucky, so its not like he doesn't have any experience there. 2- IF, and that a BIG IF, Champ doesn't get any attention, which I don't see that happening, would he be willing to come back to Denver as a Safety? Was this just to get rid of his old contract? I would love to see him finish his career as a Denver Bronco!!! 3- Does Foxy go after some of his old players this offseason? Jon Beason to anchor the middle of his D, Captain Munnerlyn to replace Champ at left corner? Are these JDR guys? 4- After letting Champ go and saving 10 Million Dollars, Do we make a trade for Revis? Revis would cost 6 Million more and some draft picks, but if we can swing a deal before March 13th, then the Bucs only give up a 4th to the Jets, instead of a 3rd round pick this year. I think this would also cost us re-signing DRC though. Here is what I think: 1- I think it is possible and would be a cheaper route then signing Byrd, Ward or Whitner. I think he could be our Kam Chancellor. 2- I don't think he will be back, as there will be plenty of teams running to his door. 3- I think both players could help us. If we do trade for Revis, we would need a cheaper player the DRC and Munnerlyn could be that guy. I've always liked Beason and I think he could be our guy in the middle this year. Both could come on cheap 1 to 2 year deals. 4- I don't see JE pulling the trigger on this 1, unless Manning takes a pay cut. We could sign Beadles, Decker and DRC for the price of 1 Revis. What do you guys think?
