Well this is interesting.
According to Miami Herald sports writer Manny Navarro, the Denver Broncos are holding a private workout with University of Miami basketball forward Erik Swoope. Swoope played four years of basketball for the Miami Hurricanes.

The hurdles are enormous but his athletic ability is strong enough that the Broncos are interested in taking a look

One-on-One
Swoope is listed at 6'5 220lbs, and would figure to be a Tight End or Wide Receiver in the NFL. There isn't much at all out there about him as a football player, so your guess is as good as mine about his ability.
The Broncos do have a former basketball player turned football player on their roster already - his name is Julius Thomas, Pro Bowler.
The Broncos are looking anywhere, and everywhere for talent, including the basketball court. Maybe Swoope would get an eventual invitation to Peyton Manning's Duke passing camp, where the guys are pictures playing basketball and a one-on-one vs. Julius Thomas would sure be entertaining.
Would you like to see the Broncos swoop up Swoope?
