History of the Denver Broncos

Ok, if you were looking for a history of the Denver Broncos, I'll be honest the next couple paragraphs don't contain that.

Backstory: I'm 21 years old and a fairly recent bronco fan. I did not grow up in a household filled with sports. My dad watches about three sports games a year and he still describes touchdowns as "goals". Well regardless I grew up liking football and playing Madden and Espn 2k5. That's how I really became to love the game, even though many people will scoff at learning I learned to love the game through video games, it's just how it happened. Get over it. I also loved playing it with friends outside, it just happened far less frequently. Anyway I got to the age where I wanted to be a fan of a specific team and I didn't want to be a fan of a local team. I live in upstate New York so I ruled out the Giants, Jets, Buffalo and New England immediately. The oldest game I remembered was the Broncos vs Giants when I was like eight and the broncos lost on a flea flicker (What a game, not surprising at all that I remember it). Jump through time about six years, and I became a broncos fan. Wasn't really easy to start up being a broncos fan in New York with no one to help me root them on, and so few games on tv that I could watch. So I was a watered down version of a fan. However when I got to college I found out that you could watch many of the games, in a not so legal fashion, online. This kickstarted my fandom and I've been an avid fan since. I have never been to a broncos game (because I am a broke college student), but it's high on my list of priorities. I own a Terrell Davis jersey (because my girlfirend is a genius) and I love the broncos.

I've rambled a bit. The point of this post is to showcase my lack of history with the broncos. With my little history with the broncos, I now know little history of the broncos. I don't like.

I want to learn more about the broncos history, and but again I'm a broke college student. So I want to go out and buy a history of the broncos book, but I need my purchase to count. So I'm asking anyone on here what is their favorite book about the broncos?

I would also encourage this post to be about people's favorite memories of the broncos, or really anything related to the history. It's the offseason, so we all are kind of itching for our fix of broncos things to talk about, hopefully this will be a healthy avenue to channel some of that energy.

Thanks in advance for your help.
