Here are the positions where Five Different Big Boards rank the Linebackers (first two rounds) compared with all other available players in this years draft.
When you remove the other player positions from the boards it shows how remarkably different these scouting groups rank them. The odd rankings that stand out from the rest of the crowd are in BOLD.

When I look at the bold names I began to wonder if Optimum Scouting (OS)
knows something that the rest don't, or if the rest were allowing themselves
to be influenced by each other. Why would Eric Galko have Jeremiah Attaochu
& Kyle Van Noy ranked ahead of Mosely and Shazier?
.
Eric Galko owns the Optimum Scouting site, and has worked as an NFL Draft
analyst for Sporting News and other major media sites throughout his scouting
career. But is his analysis what you think you can hang your hat on? He also
has Skov listed at 41 over all!
.
.
It just doesn't look to me like Shazier, or Mosely will still be there when we pick
at 31. You can bet Mack and Barr will be gone, so it leaves Attaochu, Van Noy &
Skov. Pick your poison, or does Del Rio think he has his guy who will do just
fine already on the roster?
.
Maybe a 3rd or 4th round talent at LB will be grabbed to fight for a spot. Maybe
they'll wait till later for some developmental gem they have their eyes on. I
personally don't think the Broncos Front Office sees it as an emergency situation
like some others around here.
.
I think they may believe that they can manage just fine with the group they have
for another year unless someone good drops into our lap.
.
What do you think?
