Broncos DE John Youboty suffered an achilles injury

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The Broncos suffered their first significant injury of the 2014 season

According to the Mike Klis of the Denver Post, Denver Broncos defensive end John Youboty suffered an apparent achilles injury during yesterdays rookie minicamp. The 6'4 258lb Youboty is entering his second year in the league. Youboty spent the entire 2013 season on the Denver Broncos practice squad.

According to Klis the Broncos medical staff is still evaluating Youboty's injury, but there's fear that injury is serious.

If Youboty is to miss significant time it will leave the Broncos a little thin at the defensive end position, so I would expect them to sign someone to replace him on the roster.

It's a tough break for Youboty.
