Earlier today the Denver Broncos agreed to terms with their seventh round selection Linebacker Corey Nelson, now they have signed second-round pick receiver Cody Latimer, and sixth-round pick center Matt Paradis
The terms of both deals have yet to be announced, but should be shortly.
Cody Latimer is coming off a very good 2013 college season where he snagged 72 passes for 1,096 yards and 9 touchdowns. The 6'3 215lb receiver is coming off a foot injury that held him out of the NFL Combine. However, he posted a 40 time of 4.39 at his Pro Day(He wasn't 100% yet). Latimer is a big and athletic receiver who has excellent hands.
Latimer will not be participating in team drills until Training Camp because he is still rehabbing his foot. He has participated is some individual drills and has looked explosive. Look for Latimer to compete with Andre "Bubba" Caldwell for the 4th receiver spot.
Matthew Paradis was selected in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos Paradis earned second-team All-Mountain West Conference accolades and was named the school’s Outstanding Offensive Lineman following his senior campaign in 2013.
The 6'3 306lb offensive linemen will compete for playing time at the center position behind veterans Manny Ramirez and William Montgomery.
