This link to a Bronco article inspired this post: http://www.coloradoan.com/story/sports/2014/05/12/column-elway-played-cards-perfectly-nfl-draft/9020909/
The article speaks to a compensatory pick out of Jet's signing of Decker, which made me wonder just how many compensatory picks we'll get total. I think Ozark said 3 or 4, which would be great, but remember, Elway also got a 5th next year out his trading around in this year's draft. If this is accurate we could have the ammunition to move around in next year's draft to do a little cherry picking. Could there be more? I'm still waiting for that training camp/pre-season trade for a pick or two and maybe this is the year with some of the depth we have at a few positions. Man! It boggles the mind to think our FO is moving into "elite" status in terms of draft savvy.
