Calikula's Imperial Weekly Thread: Late Night Edition

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Friday Folks! Weekly thread is back to relieve the weekly boredom of talking nothing but football on this here blog. Better late than never is the old saying, your Emperor had something that tied him up for some time. The thread is here nonetheless, and I'm glad that we're finally getting some more members up in this piece. It's making for a lot of comments, and I love it. Let's all give a hand to our lovely resident A&P (no not that one) teacher Ozark! Even when she is in her own offseason, she cannot help but to school us all up and last night she put out a fantastic piece on the PS. If you haven't read it yet make sure you do. Alas, she will be leaving us soon, but hopefully she will continue to drop by from time to time to make sure we are keeping up on things. So with that, on to the thread!

1.Times have changed, and thus so has the thread. Cursing is now allowed, as long as it is allowed in a PG13. If not, use our wonderful blackout feature :)

2. Leave bad blood at the door. If you got beef with someone, don't continue it here.

3. Leave trolling at the door as well. If you must troll, please come up with something more clever-er than "Donkeys" Also applies to us as well, folks. Lets leave the trash talking of other teams for other threads. Gotta set the example!

4. Certain topics that were once taboo like politics or religion are ok, but discuss without getting personal. Respect each other (see below), and if things get heated, then just drop it.

5. Respect each other.

Don't follow these rules, and my Imperial Homies Bronco Mike and Tim Lynch will handle ya'. Here's a pic:

Talking points:

  • Obviously, Danny T's injury
  • Upcoming game with the 49ers
  • Upcoming shared practice with the Texans
  • Megalodon
  • How to avoid scurvy in the Zombie Apocalypse, especially when one is starting out solo.

Imperial Quote of the Week:
"We must let go of the life we have, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us."
- Joseph Campbell
Enjoy
