In a few short hours, the Denver Broncos reign as defending Super Bowl champions will come to an end. Their magical 2015 season will be something us fans will cherish forever. Add that with the Pro Football Hall of Fame induction of Terrell Davis on Saturday and Bronco fans have had a pretty darn good year.
Super Bowl LI will feature the New England Patriots (16-2) and the Atlanta Falcons (13-5). The Patriots are three-point favorites to beat the Falcons. The Falcons have the leagues top scoring offense, but the Patriots have the top scoring defense. In recent years, the team with the top ranked scoring defense has beaten the top ranked scoring offense by two scores or more in Super Bowls.
In six previous Super Bowl appearances, Tom Brady and the Patriots have had every game decided by four points or less. Given how quickly NFL MVP Matt Ryan and the Falcons can put up points, I would expect this game to be a close affair. I predict a final score of 37-34 with the Patriots coming out on top.
