One prospect the Broncos may show interest in and potentially select in the first two rounds of the 2017 NFL Draft is former Florida Gator cornerback Teez Tabor. He is a 6'0', 199lb cornerback who is considered one of the more talented cornerback prospects in this years draft class. Tabor is ranked as 45th best prospect in the 2017 NFL Draft according to CBS Sports, and the seventh-best cornerback in the draft.
Tabor played a total of three seasons at Florida and put some impressive numbers while there. During his three-year career, he totaled 104 tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, 4 sacks, 8 interceptions, 3 defensive touchdowns, 28 pass deflections, and 1 forced fumbles. Last season, Tabor totaled 33 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, 1 sack, 3 interceptions, 1 defensive touchdown, and 1 fumble recovery. Tabor was selected to the first-team ALL-SEC team in 2015 and in 2016 as well as being named to the third-team All-American team in 2016.

Strengths
- Good size for a corner
- Is a press man corner, and that's exactly what the Broncos like to do
- Ball-hawking corner
- Reads the quarterback's eyes and jumps routes
- Aggressive and physical at the LOS
- Good acceleration to shadow the receiver
- Good body control and hand-eye coordination
- Read and reacts quickly
- Good footwork and balance
- Willing tackler
- Allowed an NFL passer rating of 41.2 over the past three years at Florida(Cool stat via PFF)
- An Aqib Talib clone
- Because of his aggressiveness, he can be beat on double moves
- May struggle with some of faster players in the NFL
- Ran a poor 40 time at the Combine
- He might be too physical at times which will lead to flags in the NFL
- While a willing tackler, he has some bad missed tackle attempts
- Some minor immature character concerns while at Florida
- Didn't interview well at the Combine per reports
- Will need some work on his technique
Does Teez Tabor make sense for the Broncos?
I love the fit.
Tabor is basically Aqib Talib. The way he plays and the personality.
He's a ball-hawking corner who is also physical on the field who has the potential to be a Pro Bowl cornerback. However, his personality and annoyances could be an issue at times, but his talent makes it worth it.
I love Tabor's fit in the Broncos defense. He's a physical press-man cornerback. I think he is an outside only cornerback, but he has the potential to be a damn good one if he can stay clean off the field.
The Broncos value at the cornerback position and have a hole left by Kayvon Webster who joined the Rams earlier this week. They also have an aging Aqib Talib(Who may still get suspended) and Bradley Roby who is coming off a disappointing 2016 season. So someone like Tabor could come in and potentially play a bunch his rookie year, and eventually, take over for Talib a year or two down the road.
It also has been reported that the Broncos are likely taking a corner rather early in April's draft, so Tabor could be the guy.
Tabor is probably my favorite cornerback in this draft, and I have him mocked to the Broncos in the second round of my latest mock draft. Tabor has first-round talent, but his slow 40 time and poor interviews will likely drop him into day two which may allow the Broncos to get a very good value pick with their second round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
