Paxton Lynch rookie card gets unveiled

+

Paxton Lynch gave the Denver Broncos a taste of what he's capable of in Sunday's performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The rookie first-round quarterback made his first appearance in the NFL on Sunday and didn't disappoint. While the occasion was unexpected, it will live forever. No really. Lynch's agent, Leigh Steinberg, unveiled his client's rookie card on Twitter. It comes from the Tampa game. In terms of trading cards, Lynch's is badass.

Top 10 takeaways from Sunday’s Week 4 NFL Action

+

Did anyone see this story on msn.com this morning? I thought the most interesting thing about the story was that the reigning Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos, who are the only remaining 4-0 team in the NFL, and who won their game yesterday with their rookie quarterback playing the entire second half, in his very first NFL regular season game, on the road, weren't even mentioned as one of the Top 10 takeaways. They got no mention other than a brief mention of Trevor Siemian among on a list of injured quarterbacks. More proof that there's just no love for the Denver Broncos with the mainstream media.

Broncos football. I've been talking about it recently a lot...why does this defending championship team who should be having a Super Bowl hangover keep winning games. This press conference with Von gives you a glimpse at that answer: accountability, team mentality, and 100% focus on football.

Trevor Siemian: 'There's stuff we have to clean up and get better at'

Trevor Siemian talked about the Denver Broncos 34-20 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

"A little bit of both to be honest with you," Siemian said of moving the ball well, but not scoring touchdowns. "Like I said, it is encouraging we are moving the ball but there is stuff we need to clean up and get better at. We need to finish some of those drives and make it a little easier on our defense some. But it is encouraging that we cleaned up some things and I think we have a chance to be a heck of a group."

I enjoyed seeing some positive leadership qualities in this interview. He's such a lowkey guy that it is hard to get a feel for the him at times.

Mike Pereira points out Cam Newton gets more calls than any other quarterback

Since 2011, only one other quarterback in the NFL has more penalties called for roughing calls than Cam Newton. But hey, keep on pouting, Carolina.
