Texans Eighth Drive cont.....
--2nd and 9 upcoming. A three and out would be sweet right here, no doubt about it.
--Broncos are laying some wood now, but it won't mean much if the Broncos can't stop them on third down..
--Champ Bailey gets burned by Walter. That simply cannot happen. Bailey just has not had a good year this year at all...
--All year the defense has failed to come up big when needed and tonight is no exception. 12 yards for Dayne
--The Texans have answered every Broncos score, and are in position again.
--The Broncos are back into their old habits. Over pursuit allows Walker to cut it back and pick up huge yardage. First and goal Texans.
--Solid tackle by Bailey there. Need to hold the Texans to a field goal here...
--Way too easy. The Broncos have Karl Paymah...KARL PAYMAH on Andre Johnson....Poor execution on a pitiful design...TEXANS 24 - BRONCOS 14
Broncos Ninth Drive --
--In a way it is good that it will end this way....
--LOL...Now the Broncos are trying to run the ball. Perfect time...Oh, and Travis Henry is hurt....Again.
--Cutler, and the Broncos offense as a whole, as been a step slow tonight. 3rd sack for Mario Williams and the game, and season is over for the Denver Broncos...
Texans Ninth Drive --
--I think we see the difference between a 1st round pick and a 4th round pick. Mario Williams playing huge tonight...
--And the rout could be on....Ron Dayne for 25 yards.
--10 more for the Texans, this time it's Darius Walker.
--Painful to watch, but we all need to. We all need to see what this team really is right now..
--Champ Bailey gets beat again, this time by Andre Johnson. Jamie Winborn bought the play-action 100%. Totally fooled.
--One last goal line stand. Play with pride, boys...
--And with that....Touchdown Texans...TEXANS 31 - BRONCOS 13
--The better team is going to win tonight. A hard reality, indeed.
Broncos Tenth Drive --
--Broncos going hurry up. Why not? Nothing else has worked...
--Cutler has had some lazy throws tonight. Just not as crisp as they were on Sunday.
With that, I'll leave you..Much, much more to come on this so-called game tomorrow....
STAY STRONG BRONCOS FANS....BETTER DAYS ARE AHEAD!!!

Broncos Sixth Drive --
--Another drive for the Broncos starts from the 20. Can Cutler shake off a lackluster end to the first half??
--Another catch for Marshall, his 10th already. Amazing.
--Selvin Young trips over Cutler's foot. Just not in sync tonight.
--First Down for Tony Scheffler. Broncos open the 2nd half making plays and moving the ball....again.
--Catch #11 for Marshall is another Broncos first down...
--Broncos just cannot get started on the ground. Only 3 yards for Young...
--A short pass to Scheffler will bring up a 3rd and 3. Broncos need to keep this drive alive.
--Cutler is sacked, as the Broncos go enpty backfield on 3rd and 3. The play calling just isn't there tonight when the offense is inside the 40.
--Broncos will go for it on 4th and 7....A 3 yard f'n pass on 4th and 7. Pathetic. PATHETIC!!!
Texans Sixth Drive --
--Ron Dayne has his first carry, a 7 yard run.
--Injury update -- Daniel Graham and Ian Gold are out with leg injuries...
--Texans are content to nickel and dime the Broncos down the field.
--3rd and 3 upcoming. Every third down is big now...
--First down Texans on the Walker run. Houston is on the move again.
--Texans are in scoring position now. A 12-men on defense penalty won't help things. Broncos just playing sloppy again. Same thing, all year long.
--Broncos are fooled on the bootleg again, but Winborn is able to recover.
--Ron Dayne, right up the middle for the Texan TD> Way too easy. TEXANS 17 - BRONCOS 6
Broncos Seventh Drive --
--Looks like the quality performance last weekend was a one-time deal. The Broncos are sloppy, undisciplined, lack focus. Simply not ready to play.
--Decent return for Martinez gives the Broncos their best starting field position of the night.
--A must score situation for the Broncos now.
--Broncos on the move once again. It didn't even look like Cutler looked at Scheffler before he threw it...
--What the hell was that pass?? Cutler had no business throwing that ball....
--Broncos inside the 40 and are bogging down again...
--Texans are dropping 8 in coverage...Just not allowing anyone to get open near the endzone...
--The Broncos aren't even trying to win this game, are they? Twice they have gone for it on 4th down, twice they give the ball away.
Texans Seventh Drive --
--Huge play!! The Broncos finally get a break and have great field position....
Broncos Eighth Drive --
--That's great...try and get your QB killed on a QB sweep...
--What is Scheffler doing?!?!? This had better be a touchdown. It appears to be, and if Kubiak reviews it he will lose.
--Kubiak will challenge, but will lose it.
--Tony Scheffler is a TE. He needs to put his head down and barrell through the defense, not try and leap over.....
--TOUCHDOWN BRONCOS!!! They finally get into the endzone. TEXANS 17 - BRONCOS 13
Texans Eighth Drive --
--Defense needs to step up now and force the Texans to give it back.
--Should be the last play of the 4th quarter...
--It will be...

Broncos Second Drive cont...
--A 2nd and 11 greets the Broncos as we start the 2nd quarter.
--Nice run by Selvin Young and the Broncos are faced with another 3rd and 4. Big play upcoming.
--Marshall has his third touch of the night, the second time it has netted the Broncos a first down.
--First sack of the night, and it is the former #1 pick Mario Williams.
--Broncos facing another 3rd down...and once again it is Brandon Marshall, who comes up with the catch in triple coverage.
--A Javon Walker sighting! Walker looks good making the catch and getting close to the first down.
--Third and one and Henry slams ahead for the first down. A solid drive by the Broncos. Now they need to finish it off.
--Not good there bu Cutler, getting nailed with the delay of game. Those are the types of mistakes that kill Red Zone drives.
--Nothing going there. The Broncos call a screen, but the Texans weren't coming so they had plaenty of people back to make the play. 3rd and long.
--Very close to a TD, very close to an INT. Cutler had Scheffler, but just couldn't squeez it in. The Broncos falter in the Red Zone. Elam from 41....GOOD! TEXANS 7 - BRONCOS 3
Texans Third Drive --
--And now the return of the horrible special teams. All starting with a pathetic kick-off by Sauerbrun. Can someone tell me what #10 does well???
--50 yard return has the Texans in great field position.
--Sage Rosenfels has all day to throw. Absolutely no pressure. None...NADA!
--The Texans are going right at the Broncos defense, going for the endzone. Two near misses bring up a 3rd and long.
--All day to throw, but the Broncos knock the pass down at the line. The big return will still allow the Texans to score some points.
--No problem for Kris Brown. The Texans answer the FG with one of their own...TEXANS 10 - BRONCOS 3
Broncos Third Drive --
--Not much going for Glen Martinez. It sure would be nice to have a dynamic return guy...
--Another catch for Marshall, another broken tackle, another first down....
--Another catch for Marshall. Brandon is hurting, but keeps making plays.
--Brandon Marshall is a one man team. Another catch!
--Nothing going on the running play to Henry. The Texans have done a nice job against the Broncos running game tonight.
--Pass Interference not called...Ugh
--Once again the Broncos bog down deep in Texan territory. Another game the Broncos are piling up the yards but not scoring TD's.
--Thank God for Jason Elam. 46-yarder is good. TEXANS 10 - BRONCOS 6
Texans Fourth Drive --
--Big drive upcoming. The Broncos need to find a way to make some stops. The coverage team simply cannot keep Andre Davis from getting big yardage...
--Andre Johnson with another catch, and just like that the Texans are across the 50. Can the Broncos bring some pressure please???
--Third and 8 upcoming. Broncos need to get a stop here and get the ball back before halftime.
--Finally. The Broncos bring some pressure, and Dre Bly breaks up the pass. Texans forced to punt, Broncos have a chance to inch closer...
--Nice play by Bly nets the offense about 10 extra yards.
Broncos Fourth Drive --
--Marshall has another catch. A penalty will add five yards to the end of the play and the Broncos are on the move again.
--TWO MINUTE WARNING -- TEXANS 10 - BRONCOS 6
--There's one of those back-foot, moving backward throws, and it should have been intercepted. Broncos get lucky there.
--Nearly intercepted again. The Texans brought all kinds of pressure and the O-Line wasn't ready for it. Broncos have to punt.
Texans Fifth Drive --
--The front four for the Broncos are starting to get to Rosenfels now. Nice to see.
--Why not call a timeout here??
--John Lynch meet Andrew Walter... The hit by Lynch forces another Texan punt. Broncos will have about a minute to try and get something done.
Broncos Fifth Drive --
--Not a good punt by Turk and the Broncos have decent field position.
--Another catch for Marshall, though for only 3 yards.
--The Broncos offense remains in a funk, not able to get it going.
END OF THE FIRST HALF - TEXANS 10 - BRONCOS 6

Let's get it on. Way too much love passed around before this game. Let's get real and down to business. Winner of this game still has some playoff hopes. The loser is D-O-N-E! Let's git 'er ddne!
FIRST QUARTER --
Texans First Drive --
--Red-on-red just does not work. Texans look slow...
--The first play is a pass. And why not, the Texans are not a very good running team...
--Another pass, this time for a first down. If Sage is given time he will pick the Broncos apart...
--Another pass, this time Rosenfels hits Andre Johnson. Of course, Johnson is lined up against Dre Bly who is going to struggle with Johnson.
--Another throw and catch to Johnson, who is eating Dre Bly for lunch. Bly is simply not big enough to cover Andre Johnson.
--Now the Texans use the running game with Darius Walker. Just like that the Texans have it First and Goal. Not a good start for the Broncos.
--FIRST AND GOAL -- The student becomes the master. A perfectly executed bootleg and Rosenfels runs it in for the Touchdown. We have seen that bootleg before yet the Broncos defense has no clue how to stop it. TEXANS 7 - BRONCOS 0
Broncos First Drive --
--Not the start we wanted, falling behind, on the road, that quickly. Let's see what Cutler can do with his first touch...
--The Broncos will start from the 20 after the touchback. Answering with a score is key.
--The Broncos try a play-fake of their own, but the Texans are ready. Cutler is fortunate jsut to get the 2 yards he did...
--Now Marshall is injured. Not good...
--Selvin Young continues to impress, running right through teh Texan defense.
--Young shows off his blocking ability, allowing Cutler to step up and hit Martinez. This could be a shoot-out tonight...
--Not a good decision there by Cutler. Two bootlegs, two successful stops by the Texans..
--Marshall is back, but before he can run a route the Broncos get started a bit early. Big third down here.
--Marshall needs to make that catch. Looked like #15 was a bit tentative after getting shaken up.
--Elam from 53 yards won't happen as he decides to punt. It works out, with the ball downed at the 4 yard line.
Texans Second Drive --
--Broncos need to show a little more on defense this time than they did the last drive. Or it could be a long night.
--Once again the Broncos are frozen by some play-action. Broncos seem confused by what the Texans are doing.
--What the hell is Hamza Abdullah doing??? Just plain missed the tackle, and the Broncos are playing the way they were earlier in the season. Sloppy and unfocused...
--Bailey has an pick hit him right in the chest, can't come up with it, and ends up hurting hurting himself. That sums up 2007 right there...
--Bailey looks ok, but the Denver defense does not, getting shredded again for another first down.
--Broncos finally get a bit of pressure on Rosenfels, and the Broncos are without Ian Gold, who has an ice-pack on his knee...
--Damnnnnnn! D.J. Williams makes sure the Texans drive stops right there. Let's hope that lights a spark under the defense.
Broncos Second Drive --
--BREAKING NEWS!!! The Broncos are going to start a drive inside their 5-yard line.
--Make it the 7. Travis Henry see his first action and promptly gets stuffed at the line.
--Tony Scheffler, wide open, makes the catch and the Broncos have a first down. Cutler is moving around the pocket beautifully.
--The M.O. of the Texans all year has been to start fast, but they tend to wear down. The Broncos are starting that process now, with a couple of Henry runs for another first down.
--Brandon Marshall refuses to go out of bounds. In this case it ends up costing him. I love #15.

Chiefs Fourth Drive -
--More sweet goodness from Hamza, playing Bowe perfectly...
--Nate Webster, playing perfect gap defense, stuffs something called a Gilbert Harris on the running play...
--3rd and 5, there's a flag. The Broncos are off-sides again, and it's Doom. The Broncos need to do something about all of these offsides penalties. Two of them give the Chiefs their first first down of the game.
--Gilbert Harris runs softly on 2nd and 1 and Webster makes the stop again for no-gain..
--3rd and one, the Chiefs run it again and the Broncos stuff it again. This time it is Bailey making the stop...
--4th and less than 1....Chiefs run and pick up the first...
--Easily the best game the Broncos linebackers have played this year. They are not missing their assignment and not over-playing in pursuit...
--IAN GOLD WITH THE SACK. Drilling Croyle, along with Dumervil
--Third and long sees a reception to Tony Gonzalez leaves a 4th and 2...
--Chiefs go for it again...run, and get it...The Broncos had it stuffed but D.J. Williams could not get Kolby Smith down...
--Very close to a fumble, Dwayne Bowe had it but couldn't hang on...
--Drive approaching 7 minutes....and the Chiefs pick up a Delay of Game penalty, bringing up 2nd and 15...
--A 3rd and 6 upcoming, and Croyle gets sacked again, and Dumervil breaks his sack drought. His 9th on the season, and the Chiefs will have to go for it again...
--On 4th and 13 the Broncos sit back and let Brodie Croyle sit back there all day. First Down Chiefs. Bad Play Broncos...
--False Start will back the Chiefs up again...
--The Chiefs are 3/3 on 4th down on this drive..
--Horrible tackling, first by Dre Bly, then by the rest of the Broncos defense, allows Tony Gonzalez to walk into the endzone...Touchdown Chiefs....BRONCOS 14 - Chiefs 7
Broncos Fifth Drive --
The Chiefs hold the ball for nearly 9 minutes and cut the Broncos lead in half. Can the Broncos offense find it's rhythm??
--Broncos will start near the 30, looking to get their mojo back...
--Daniel Graham having a huge day and the Broncos are to mid-field.
--The 9-minute drive has taken the oomph out of the crowd, that's for sure...
--Selvin Young has the Broncos down to the 30, and just like that the Broncos are back in scoring position...
--Young already over 100 yards, now at 113 for the day...
--Tony Scheffler runs alot like a receiver. He lines up out there, catches teh quick pass and runs for another Broncos first down...
--TWO-MINUTE WARNING -- BRONCOS 14 - CHIEFS 7
--THOUCHDOWN BRONCOS!!! Brandon Marshall is wide-open for the score...Then the worst officiating crew in football calls Marshall for a 15-yard penalty for throwing snow in the air. Guys, get a life!!! BRONCOS 21 - Chiefs 7
Chiefs Fifth Drive --
--The penalty helps the Chiefs get out to mid-field...
--Chiefs run the ball and bust inside Broncos territory...
--No-huddle for the Chiefs, and quickly the Chiefs are looking at 3rd and long...
--Just like that the Chiefs go three and out. The Broncos will have 1:18 and all three timeouts to try and extend the lead...
Broncos Sixth Drive --
--Starting at their own 16, the Broncos run it to Selvin Young and he switches fields and get the ball all the way down to mid-field. Selvin young is a playa. Timeout Denver...
--Brandon Marshall on the pitch this time, and he gains 12 yards. Timeout Denver...
--Scheffler with the catch. He stay in bounds, however, and the clock continues to move...
--Marshall this time, then again. The Broncos just do get a timeout, with 1 second to go, and the Broncos have a chance to extend the lead...
--The final play of the first half is a Jason Elam field goal...Solid first half by the Broncos....
END OF FIRST HALF - BRONCOS 24 - Chiefs 7
