Congratulations To The Green Bay Packers, Super Bowl XLV Champions
What a way to end the 2010 NFL Season. A great game, and a big win for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. I picked the Steelers to win, but as someone that thinks Brett Favre was completely overrated, watching Aaron Rodgers throw for 304 yards and 3 touchdowns was exciting.
Now our attention can focus solely on the CBA and the prospects of a Lockout. Let's hope that cooler heads prevail and the NFL Owners and NFLPA can get an agreement sooner rather than later.
Congrats Packers! Let's hope one day soon the Denver Broncos are back in the Super Bowl!

Super Bowl XLV - Pittsburgh Steelers Vs. Green Bay Packers Predictions
We are about two hours from game time. Time to get some thoughts on who will win and why. First, the staff of MileHighReport give their thoughts. Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments! We'll have another open thread for the game:
Tim Lynch: Pittsburgh Steelers 27, Green Bay Packers 24 - I wouldn't be surprised if either team wins, so if I had to choose one I'd have to go with the team that has been here before and knows what it takes to win the biggest game of the year. I secretly like the Packers more than any other team in the league (besides the Broncos of course), but I can't go against the best defense in football. The only thing I am certain of is that this is going to be one excellent football game!
Kaptain Kirk: Green Bay Packers 16 - Pittsburgh Steelers 13: Super Bowl XLV will come down to Field Goals. This is going to be a hard fought battle and trench warfare at it's finest. It won't be an edge-of-your-seat back and forth scoring affair and I expect the commercials will be more exciting than the game.

Sunday Morning Bloody Mary: Pro Bowl Open Thread
The weekend of football continues with the Pro Bowl on FOX, right now.
Yesterday, we all watched future NFL players in the Senior Bowl, but today we get to feast our eyes on the NFL's best. Brandon Lloyd and Champ Bailey are both playing, which means that we will have something to enjoy while the AFC is on offense and defense.
Enjoy the game and ENJOY WITH ABSOLUT RESPONSIBILITY®
AFC Championship Open Thread: Jets at Steelers
The Jets and Steelers play at 4:30 pm MST (6:30 pm EST) on CBS.
The playoff action isn't over, just yet. The Steelers and Jets will play for the second time this season, this time for a right to play the Green Bay Packers in the Super Bowl.
The first meeting saw the Jets victorious, winning 22-17 in Pittsburgh. The Steelers were down by 5 with 2:08 remaining on their own 8 yard line. They were able to drive to the Jets 10 yard line before the drive stalled and Ben Roethlisberger threw two incompletions to end the game. The Jets defense really stood tough during the game, most notably on a 4th quarter safety. That play changed the course of the game. Instead of needing only a field goal to tie the game, the Steelers were down 5 points and needed a touchdown on the final drive.
The Jets will, once again, travel to Heinz Field and attempt to steal another win from the Steelers. This time around, however, it will be a bit more challenging. The Steelers will have Troy Polamalu and Heath Miller in the game, both of which sat out in week 15 due to injury).

Sunday Morning Bloody Mary: NFC Championship Open Thread - Packers at Bears
The Packers and Bears will battle at 1 pm MST (3 pm EST) on FOX.
This NFC Championship game is by far the most excited I have been about a playoff football game this year. The Bears versus Packers rivalry is what the NFL is all about. This division rivalry has given football fans some legendary defenses, some of the greatest coaches in NFL history (George Hallas and Vince Lombardi), memorably players such as Mike Ditka, Brett Favre, the Refrigerator, and extraordinary images from the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field and the windy Soldier Field. It's almost as if these teams were created to be shown on those slow-motion NFL Films.
This one is bound to be another classic.
The Bears and Packers have played twice already this season, the last of which was a week 17 battle in Green Bay that saw the Packers take a 10-3 win and claim one of the two wild card spots. The Bears, who were already guaranteed a first round bye, played their starters in order to keep their division foes out of the playoffs. They failed to do so and, now, these teams will fight it out for a chance to play in the Super Bowl against the winner of the AFC Championship game to be played at 4:30 pm MST (6:30 EST).

AFC Divisional Playoff Open Thread: Jets at Patriots
Kickoff is at 2:30 pm MST (4:30 pm EST) on CBS.
After this game, both AFC and NFC Championship games will be set. The winner will face the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship game. More importantly, we can finally finish up this Jets/Patriots smack talk. No more "losses are on me" press conferences. No more Belichick vs Rex Ryan. No more talking about feet...
In case you didn't get the memo, these teams hate each other. Division rivalries are usually intense, but the relationship between the Jets and Patriots franchises has been toxic, as of late. Bart Scott threatened Wes Welker, saying that his days in a uniform are "numbered". Antonio Cromartie used vulgar language to describe Tom Brady. Rex Ryan said that Peyton Manning works a lot harder than Tom Brady. Wes Welker talked about feet, evidently to slander Rex Ryan.
The list goes on... but what we do know is that none of it matters once the ball is kicked off. It's a game of football and - no matter what anyone tells you - trash talk has never put a single point on the scoreboard.

NFC Divisional Playoff Open Thread: Seahawks at Bears
Kickoff is at 11:00 am MST (1:00 pm EST) on FOX.
The Seahawks and Bears will fight it out at Soldier Field to see who advances to face the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game. The Seahawks are coming off an impressive 41-36 victory over the Saints, while the Bears are set to make their first playoff appearance since losing to the Colts in 2006 during Super Bowl XLI.
The Seahawks and Bears have already met in 2010. In week 6, the Seahawks came into Chicago and beat the Bears 23-20. During the game, the Seahawks appeared to have the game in hand, holding a 10 point lead with a little over 2 minutes remaining. However, they punted to Devin Hester, who then returned the ball for an 89 yard touchdown (the 13th return touchdown of his career) to bring the Bears within 3 points. The ensuing onside kick was recovered by the Seahawks and that pretty much ended the game.
Most notable, however, was the utter lack of pass protection from Chicago's offensive line. Jay Cutler was sacked 6 times (one for a safety) and completed only 17 out of 39 passes for 290 yards. It was the only game this season where Jay Cutler failed to throw either a touchdown or an interception. It was also the first of two road victories for the Seahawks in 2010.
Can the Seahawks steal another win from the Bears at Soldier Field? Only one way to find out...
