The Denver Broncos have finished their Training Camp for the 2011 season. It was my privilege to attend 17 of the 18 practices that were open to the public. While I was there, I took some pictures with a modest camera. These 42 pictures are from the 3rd and final week. I hope you enjoy them.

Broncos 2011 Training Camp-Kaptain's Log-Day 17

The final day at Dove Valley for the 2011 Denver Broncos Training Camp is here. Alas, but all good things must end. The bittersweet part of this, is even though Camp will end, regular season football will begin. It is a cool morning so far, but the high clouds will soon give way to a hot sunny day. I'm sitting at the 47 yard line again and I see Tim Tebow emerges from the confines of the locker room wearing shells and shorts. I must say that I am a little disappointed they aren't in Full Pads, but with injuries starting to gain momentum, maybe a light day is the better choice. It has been a relatively injury free Camp, one that the Broncos were long overdue for. The JUG's machine sits at the 30 yard line and it's operator is having trouble starting the generator again. HORN.

Broncos 2011 Training Camp-Kaptain's Log-Day 16

I am an hour early for Training Camp practice at the Denver Broncos Dove Valley Facility and after driving through some rain, I am relieved when the sky clears up. It is a cooler afternoon than the past few days and I take up residence in the shade at the 47 yard line, about 40 minutes before the scheduled starting time of 2:20pm. The JUG's machine is carted out and set up at the 30 yard line for Punt Return simulation and at 2 O'clock, Tim Tebow makes his customary appearance and begins to loosen up. Another Full Pad practice today, which is good because if the players are in shorts there's not much contact. I also meet up with MHR member Alexander Wall. He and I will be enjoying practice together and comparing notes. HORN.

Broncos 2011 Training Camp-Kaptain's Log-Day 15

There is a clear sky this morning in Dove Valley as I arrive for the Broncos Training Camp practice. I take my position at the 46 yard line today. As I settle in, I see that Tim Tebow is loosening up 20 minutes before practice as is his wont. He is in Full Pads too. I can tell that it will be a hot one today and I'm glad I brought extra water. Special Teams Coordinator Jeff Rodgers sets up two pair of cones on the 25 yard line, out where the numbers are marked on the field. It must be to designate a lane for the kickoff and punt returners. The JUG's unit is set up at the 15 yard line. I see the other Quarterbacks long with Virgil Green and Greg Orton. Manny Ramirez snaps a few balls to Tebow. HORN.

Broncos 2011 Training Camp-Kaptain's Log-Day 14

It's another fine day as I male my way into the Broncos Dove Valley Training Complex. I find a spot at the 45 yard line as Tim Tebow begins throwing to an intern. Adam Weber takes over for the intern as Manny Ramirez, Virgil Green and Dan Gronkowski walk on to the field. The JUG's machine is set up on my right at the 30 yard line. New Wide Receiver Greg Orton is wearing #14 and catching passes from Tebow. I see the emerging players are in Full Pads today and the JUG's is setting up for low squib kicks. HORN.

It's an early Saturday morning. While most of you are sleeping in, I am making my way to the Denver Broncos Dove Valley Training Complex. I set up at the 47 yard line today and wonder if the coaches will address the penalty issue from Thursday's game. Or maybe the return game that didn't fare so well. It could be that they will merely continue the course they've set and maintain an even keel.

The second week of Broncos Training Camp went on similar to the previous one. In all but one practice, the team was in Full Pads and they got some good work in. Since the team has the day off, I thought I would give you a visual of this week in Camp. What follows is a glimpse of what I experienced in roughly 30 pictures. Enjoy!

Broncos 2011 Training Camp-Kaptain's Log-Day 12

When I arrive at the Broncos Training Complex this morning, I find out that practice has been not only delayed, but shortened. So I use the 45 minutes listening to the Vic and Gary show on "The Ticket." The time goes by soon enough and end up sitting at the 47 yard line. Surprisingly, Austin Sylvester is the first player to take the field. A minute later, Tim Tebow emerges out on to the field and begins to toss around the football. This will be a "Shells and Shorts" session and I don't expect much. HORN.
