Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Dan Orlovsky connected on 11-of-22 passes for 137 yards and had a 10-yard touchdown run to lead the Detroit Lions in a 27-10 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in the second preseason test for both squads.

Jon Kitna and Drew Stanton combined to go 5-of-5 passing for 134 yards, with both QBs tossing a touchdown for the Lions (2-0). Artose Pinner rushed 13 times for 52 yards and Drew Stanton had two touches for 20 yards and a score.

Calvin Johnson caught three passes for 76 yards and a score, while Brandon Middleton hauled in two balls for 58 yards and a TD. Dave Rayner hit on 2-of-3 field goals and all three extra points.

Ryan Fitzpatrick was 11-of-14 passing for 111 yards and a score, and also rushed three times for 31 yards, while Carson Palmer hit on 6-of-13 passes for 50 yards and a interception. Glenn Holt caught two passes for 22 yards and found the end zone once. Jerome Simpson led all Cincy (0-2) receivers with four catches for 72 yards.

Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson started, but hurt his shoulder on the Bengals' first drive and did not return.

Johnson hauled in a 27-yard pass from Kitna with 8:22 left in the first to put the Lions up 7-0.

Fitzpatrick's 21-yard scramble highlighted a 13-play, 99-yard drive that lasted 5:26 and culminated with a 12-yard touchdown catch by Holt. Cincinnati gained seven first downs on the trek, which knotted the score at seven apiece just after the two minute warning in the second frame.

Rayner connected on a 48-yard field goal with a bit over nine minutes left in the third to give Detroit a 10-7 cushion.

The Lions defense stepped it up in the third quarter as the Bengals had a first-and-goal from the Detroit seven. Cincy gained a total of six yards on the first three plays and DeDe Dorsey was then stopped on the one-yard line for a turnover on downs.

After going three-and-out on the ensuing drive, Antonio Chatman returned the punt to the Detroit 33-yard line. That led to a 50-yard field goal from Shayne Graham which tied the game at 10 heading into the final frame.

Rayner nailed a 23-yarder to put the Lions up 13-10 with just under 11 minutes left in the game.

With about six minutes left in the game, Stanton connected with Middleton on a 50-yard touchdown bomb that ballooned Detroit's lead to 20-10.

Orlovsky trotted into the end zone on a 10-yard bootleg to give the Lions a 27-10 lead just prior to the two-minute warning.

On the injury front for the Bengals, running back Rudi Johnson didn't make his first appearance of the season. He also sat out the Packers game due to a hamstring injury. T.J. Houshmandzadeh (hamstring) also did not play.
