I like Jim Bates
and I think the philosophy behind his system is sound, BUT, afte rthe way this run defense has played all year he almost has to tender his resignation.  This is a complete bottoming out.

1st time?
Cutler and a TD pass: a series that ends today?

by DjBroncos on Oct 7, 2007 4:44 PM MDT   0 recs

Eight minutes and all spread
I think he'll get that pass he needs.

He's played very well, but they needed to let him attack the sidelines downfield.  The pick wasn't great, but his development has been accelerated, and he's further along than the average first round, young QB.

It's time to do some removing
of people who don't want to be on this team.  I don't care if it's coaches, players or whatever.  This is the worst I have seen since 1994.

Ok, who needs to go?
Ok I'll start off naming a few:

Glen Martinez
Nick Ferguson
Nate Webster
Ian Gold
John Englanberger
Sam Adams
Atuan Burton
Todd Saurbrun

Selvin Young!!!

First players who need to go
are Champ Bailey and John Lynch.

Let me explain.  The rest of this team isn't fit to carry their jockstaps, let alone stand by why those two catch any heat for not being able to do absolutely everything that this team needs to get done.

The 2007 Broncos don't deserve players like Bailey and Lynch.

Loud Noises!
I can't believe that stealing wins from the Bills and Raiders might keep us from an elite prospect in the draft!  Honestly, we line up with at least four unacceptably bad players on defense and the offense needs a little more time to gel (being healthy would have helped).  I've looked at the draft prospects and I think we could address a couple of our needs there, but we'll need free agent help as well.  Does anyone know who'll be out there at S, OLB and DT?  This is embarassing... almost gross.

Anyone still drinking the kool aid?
This team is an absolute disgrace to Bronco nation and everyone who has ever played for the Broncos. This team has quit on Shannahan. They have no pride, no heart, and are just going through the motions. I have never seen a Bronco team that is this bad and I said it from week 1. They have quit!

I wonder how much money you could have made
betting that the Raiders would be leading the AFC West after 5 weeks.

by MattR on Oct 7, 2007 5:14 PM MDT   0 recs

Honestly,
the AFC is a total joke. I don't care if the Chargers come back and win it with 11 wins. It's a joke.

I want the youngest team possible so they can grow old together for the nect 10-15 years and win some Super Bowls. Rebuilding on the fly doesn't work.

In the best situation, a corner can hold a wr covered for about 6 seconds. Rivers had about 10-12 a play. It's just bad. We have absolutely no pass rush at all. We're over the salary cap. Shanny should can some of these guys tonight. Check out above or the diary I posted.

Selvin Young!!!
