OVERTIME --
Bears First Drive --
--The Broncos lose the toss and the Bears will get the ball first...That means Devin Hestor...
--Nice kick there, and the Bears will have to go the length of the field to get into field goal range...
--One play and the Bears are damn close. The defense has let Grossman get into a groove....
--Someone needs to tackle Peterson, not go for the strip....
--The Bears playing for the field goal? We'll see...Big third down..
--First down Bears, and the defense can't come up with a stop...
--Now a defensive penalty...Nothing going right for the Broncos now...
--This is a season killer for the Broncos...A SEASON KILLER....
FINAL SCORE - CHICAGO BEARS 37 - DENVER BRONCOS 34

Desmond Clark
This game is reminding me of the home game with San Diego last year, when we blew a 17 point lead.

We all have a certain punt kicker to thank

i'm freaking devastated
I don't know what to say. This is one of the worse losses I've endured in recent memory. Season killer indeed.

Todd Sauerbrun
"We're not going to kick away from [Devin Hester]"...
Look how well that worked for us.
Heck, we win if he doesn't get that punt blocked.
It may sound defeatist, but there went our season. This just has all of the makings of one of those epic collapses that starts a 5 game skid. I sure hope not, but tonight was very discouraging.

They had the game won, and pissed it away.

Coaching.
Here's another headscratcher likely to be overlooked: why did we go into the "prevent offense" up by only two scores halfway through the 4th quarter?! You want to make a pathetic team look great: play vanilla schemes on both sides of the ball with a full 1/8 of the game left.
I beg this one entirely on coaching. Sure, the breaks didn't exactly go our way, but we had this one in the bag before the coaching staff took their foot off the peddle and stalled the team. Terrible... just plain terrible.

Agreed
Another thing sticking in my mind is the inability to get a TD at the goal line. Twice they had 1st and goal inside the five a settled for three. That happens all the time, and it's the same lazy, predictable play calling that leads to it. Put 7 on the board in one of those situations and you win the game.

this hurts
I seriously don't know how this team can do this to this state.
Colorado sports (except Nugs) have gone downhill since the Rockies WS loss.

It's Hester not Hestor
You guys played great. Sure, Todd was all about kicking it to Hester and that killed you, but you turned up other big ST plays as well. Both teams made stupid turnovers, but you still overall played a good game... you jsut couldn't finish.
Also, I don't think your season is over. Your not that far back in your division. We were the ones with the season on the brink!

Wow
I can't say that I am ultra depressed by the outcome. It's not like I see us winning the super bowl this year. My biggest hope for the season is to see leaps of progress in our young players. Perhaps this one will be a powerful lesson in finishing a game that you have in your hands.
I still don't think we're out of it as far as the division goes, but it sure hurts to lose one like this
