That stokely move in
the endzone was kind of funny.  It looked like it was in slo mo, but the DB just about got his jock turned around backwards without taking it off first.

Technically
Yes, we do own tiebreakers over 2 of the four teams ahead of us for the wild card. Realisticly, not really.

We only notice him when he gets an INT or when he gets burned.  He does his job best by not getting noticed at all (taking his guy out of the game 'cause no one wants to throw to him).

I agree it's a little late in the season to get things right, but I think this is at least his second game lading the team in tackles.

I'm saddened
that they can muster the right kind of attitude to late to make a difference.

Is it because KC is struggling so much?

by Jeremy Bolander on Dec 9, 2007 4:19 PM MST reply actions

Amir
That's kind of my point about the need for coverage safeties in another diary.  EVERY CB should get burned a few times each game.  I think most folks expect the world's best CBs to play perfect games.  The position is too difficult to expect that.  The top CBs limit their opponents to three or four receptions a game, which is about what Bailey gives up.  With only one safety in the deep center (and the other wasted in the box) we are asking to give up TDs every game in our system without two coverage SAFs.

  1. I don't think teams are tacking Williams out which makes room for Webster.  With a four man front Williams should have better protection than Webster.
  2. I don't give all the credit to KC.  If we were as bad as they are (supposedly) playing, we couldn't do this well.  KC IS a struggling team, but so are we.  It seems to me like we're just stepping up and playing the way we should and they're not.  Let's give ourselves a little credit.

scores, and that is a good thing because I would love to see our offense keep producing.  Finally!!!

I still think that KC has a good D, we are doing a good job against a team with a lot of talent on D.
