Anyone else...
It would also be nice to have try outs for next season right now. (I think BroncoDude would like this approach).

Either they really are that bad
by Silverblood on Dec 9, 2007 4:41 PM MST up reply actions 0 recs
Nah
As to drop in talent; we don't need to pull all of our starters. Just three or four on either side of the ball is the norm.
KC isn't coming back. This is an excellent opportunity (at game speed) to give some back-ups valuable experience and to try out some back-ups to assess our offseason needs in depth.
Not a popular decision for fans, but a good move by a coach none the less.

Remember SD and DET
KC will be lucky to get out alive at this point.

Steelers trailing
I think the lesson here is, never guarantee a victory over a 12-0, Bill Belichick-skippered team.

Nice STs move.
I used to love bringing blitzes here with the front seven and going for the safety. I kept the CBs in man and the SAFs deep just in case.
It punches the other team's morale right in the gut when you get a safety for two points.
by Steve Nichols on Dec 9, 2007 4:48 PM MST reply actions 0 recs
Almost got a safety there.

Oh, yeah, he made it to the one-inch line.

by amirebram on Dec 9, 2007 4:53 PM MST reply actions 0 recs
We almost flubbed that punt return.
We don't want injuries, and we should run down the clock and get out.
