Broncos Notch One In Prisco's Top 50

Champ's #4 overall, but #1 on defense.
The movie, Major League. The scene, harry Doyle, played brilliantly by Bob Uecher reading the box score after another Indians loss...
"For the Indians, no runs of 1 hit....That's all we got, one God Damned hit?"
I couldn't help but think of this line when reviewing Pete Prisco's list of the Top 50 players in the NFL. The Broncos received one nod, Champ Bailey at #4. One guy, that's all we got, one God Damned guy?
Of course, if we were going to have another player in the list we have to know who that guy would be...
How about Javon Walker? There are 8 receiver's on the list. Walker isn't on of the top-8 receivers in the game? Based on stats, I guess not, but it isn't Walker's fault Jake Plummer sucks. Walker's yards per catch were third highest in football last year, proof that when he did get the ball he made an impact. Need proof? Just watch the end around he turned into a 70 touchdown in Pittsburgh.
Tom Nalen has been among the most consisten Center's in the league over the last 10 years but never gets the credit.
Hey, to Prisco's credit, he does agree with us on Champ Bailey --
4. Champ Bailey, CB, Denver Broncos: He is the best defensive player in the league. You can compare him to Deion Sanders, which is high praise.
Bailey is better than Deion, period. Deion didn't tackle anyone and is famous for saying that a CB that couple play the run was a CB that couldn't cover. Champ does both at a Hall of Fame level.
I am not a big fan of lists, never have been, but it is always fun to point out how little the national media thinks of us, especially when there are people covering other teams that claim the same with no basis.
Here is the breakdown by team --
COLTS -- 5
CHARGERS -- 4

JAGUARS -- 3
RAVENS -- 3
SAINTS -- 3

Same ol' garbage
Shawne Merriman is much too high, for a player with a one-dimensional game.
Julian Peterson should be above Ware, at least. Watching him for 16 games, I think it's fair to say he re-established himself last year as the premier OLB.
Javon should be rated above both Johnson and Fitzgerald, as well...as should Holt (and probably Evans too). He's going on draft-hype there, IMO, but then he tries to even it out by picking little known players and calling them super underrated...hahaha, I laugh at Pete Prisco's work!
Walter Jones is also a bit too high...he had a down year last year.

Prediction:
Possibly Daniel Graham/Travis Henry/Javon Walker will break the 50.
