Luckily it;s an off-day for the Rockies.
Cutler should be getting 10-12 snaps, which is what you'd expect in the first game.

No kidding
about the off day. Now I don't have to worry about DVRing the Bronco game and/or flipping back and forth.

I am so ready for some football
I just forgot to order the wings in time to make sure they get here in time for kickoff.  Oh well.  It is the preseason after all.

The most exited fan over the ocean?

This gonna be a huge night 2 to 5 am over here =)

Let's get it started baby!

And we're off!
Love Cutler's arm. Nice throw to Walker.

I think
I'm going to like the Chris Henry era.

by Knepster on Aug 13, 2007 6:14 PM MDT reply actions   0 recs

I don't know about Chris Henry
but this Travis Henry looks like a punishing runner.

by ohnokoolaid on Aug 13, 2007 6:15 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

*hehe*
Of course it's Travis.

by DjBroncos on Aug 13, 2007 6:16 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

Hahaha
Yeah that too. That's what I get for not looking at what I'm typing. My fingers type whatever they want sometimes. Muscle memory or something.

by Knepster on Aug 13, 2007 6:19 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yeah...
...me too mate! And the Jay Cutler era too =)

TD =)

by DjBroncos on Aug 13, 2007 6:16 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

Thank Montrae Holland for that TD
He got his man and a linebacker ready to plug the hole with a cut block.

For not having arguably the top two starters up front, the holes were fairly big that drive.

Nickle D is one for one
not a sack, but a good hurry by Dumervil.  Moss also walked his lineman into the lap of the QB.

by ohnokoolaid on Aug 13, 2007 6:29 PM MDT reply actions   0 recs

D looking
less than stellar. That's why it's preseason.

BTW I'm only typing last names from now on. I figure it's either that or take the time to proof read my posts for obvious errors, but I'll pass on that.

by Knepster on Aug 13, 2007 6:38 PM MDT reply actions   0 recs

It's just the first game of pre-season
but the bar being set by our first team ends doesn't look too high for our rookie to creep in on more of their playing time.  If this is how they'll play the run, than I can live with Moss's style of run D.

by ohnokoolaid on Aug 13, 2007 6:39 PM MDT reply actions   0 recs

Rookies I mean
I'm also excited to see Kennedy and Thomas in action.

by ohnokoolaid on Aug 13, 2007 6:40 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

Wasn't Bell
#20 last year? As much as I like Bell it's weird seeing #30 on somebody besides TD.

by Knepster on Aug 13, 2007 6:45 PM MDT reply actions   0 recs

Bell looks bigger this year
thus far, I think all three of our backs have run the ball well, which is nice, because Henry isn't the most durable back in the league.

by ohnokoolaid on Aug 13, 2007 6:47 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

He does
look bigger. He always looked a bit undersized last year.

by Knepster on Aug 13, 2007 6:48 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

Morgan
found his way. Hopefully he can keep those returns up and running.

And Bell looks nice in those runs - with the 30...

Btw
Where's Guru?

by DjBroncos on Aug 13, 2007 6:49 PM MDT reply actions   0 recs

What happened to Moss
did he turn his ankle in pursuit?

by ohnokoolaid on Aug 13, 2007 6:53 PM MDT reply actions   0 recs

looks like it might have been
trying to avoid getting caught up with Crowder and Smith.  Or maybe one of them rolled up on him a bit as he tried to avoid solid contact.  I could not really tell from rewinding the DVR.

by MattR on Aug 13, 2007 6:59 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

oops, Dilfer not Smith
not paying much attention to the SF substitutions.

by MattR on Aug 13, 2007 7:00 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

How about Crowder's acceleration off the edge
once he broke free, he did well to keep pursuit and force the fumble.

by ohnokoolaid on Aug 13, 2007 7:01 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

I know
it's Jerry Rice and not a friggin Desperate Housewives person, but the booth interviews still get old. I don't care what Rice's handicap is.

by Knepster on Aug 13, 2007 7:05 PM MDT reply actions   0 recs

At least Jaws is in the booth
I like him as a color guy.  Everyone else is dreadful, and you know come week one, we'll get Joe Schmoe from some ABC sitcom giving his story of backyard football.

by ohnokoolaid on Aug 13, 2007 7:11 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

I like
Jaws, too. Theismann was too much. I'm sure we'll get sitcom people once the prime time shows start. Guess that's why we have a mute button.

by Knepster on Aug 13, 2007 7:14 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

I was glad
to see how efficiently the offense worked. Henry looks like a beast for fantasy football.
