After reading the Boss Bailey article,

who gives a rats ass what the East Coast bias media thinks about the Denver Broncos. What matters is what the players in the league think of us.

Boss Bailey left a 7-9 team to player for a 7-9 team, yet in his mind he left an NFL pariah to come to an elite organization. 7-9 for the Denver Broncos is an abberration and a dismal season, but for the Lions 7-9 is a success.

So who cares what the East Coast bias says and what they do to us each year in the Hall of Fame. We are elite to the players in the league and that kind of respect is more important to me than any disrespect we receive for the boneheads in the media!

You hear the exact same thing in regards to Shanahan as well. Players, coaches and administrators around the league have a huge amount of respect for him, while the media harp on him. And it's not only the national media, but the locals. Somtimes even more so.

Or so I'm told.
