Broncos On The Road To Health

The Broncos are starting to get healthy, and just at the right time.  Three of their injured returned to practice Tuesday, though neither expects to play on Thursday in Arizona.

Gerrard Warren has missed the last 24 days with a dislocated toe.  When the injury forst occurred, the team thought it was alot worse.  A fracture would have ended Warren's season.

Rookie WR Brandon Marshall also practiced for the first time since injuring a knee in the pre-season opener against Detroit.  Shanny is hoping Marshall can get some reps in Arizona on Thursday.

It was nice to get him back, he looked pretty good running routes. There was no setback there.

I don't think he'll be able to play in the game (against Arizona), but we're hoping there's a chance.  --  Shanny discussing Brandon Marshall

As for Ron Dayne, it is imperative for him to get on the field on Thursday, or risk not making the team at all.  Shanny has a history of letting players go that cannot practice, and he won't let past accomplishments get in the way.  In my opinion, if Dayne doesn't have a big night against the Cardinals his days in a Bronco Uni might be over, though there is a possibility the team could stash him on the PUP list, essentially giving themselves until Week 6 to decide what to do with him.

Of the major players, only Courtney Brown has still not practiced, but is expected to be ready for St. Louis.
