Date: Sunday, November 26, 2007

Time: 2:15 p.m. MST

Teams: Denver Broncos (5-5, Tied for 1st in AFC West) at Chicago Bears (4-6, 3rd Place in NFC North)

Location: Soldier Field - Chicago, IL

Broncos Fourth Drive cont.... --

--The Broncos looking at a 3rd and 2 to open the second quarter...
--That play had no chance, even if Marshall was able to make the play.
--Broncos don't want to try a long field goal...
--Great throw by Cutler there, right on the money to Marshall. First Down Broncos!
--OPTION BABY!! TOUCHDOWN BRONCOS -- BRONCOS 10 - Bears 3

Bears Fourth Drive --

--Nice job on Hestor again...
--How quickly an INT can change things. The Bears have no desire to let Grossman throw the ball
--Not even on third down, as Benson breaks one, but it could be costly to the Bears as Benson is down, clutching his left leg...
--Looks to be a broken leg for Benson...Here's hoping he is ok...
--As it is, the Bears pick up a much needed first down, inside Broncos territory...
--Broncos not respecting the pass at all, and that allows the Bears an easy first down. If the defense is going to blitz, they need to bring it...
--DRE BLY BABY!!! That's what I mean, when you blitz, BLITZ! The Broncos do, and Bly gets to Grossman untouched...
--Nice job tackling and the Broncos defense holds again.

Broncos Fifth Drive --

--Nice job, Maynard...15 yard net punt...
--IT would be nice if the Broncos could add at least three here....
--This is coming back. Pass Interference on the Bears...Ok, make it illegal contact, but the important thing is the Broncos keep the ball, first down.
--I DO NOT LIKE MIKE BELL. NEVER HAVE, NEVER WILL. He fumbles, and the Bears have great field position...

Bears Fifth Drive --

--I guess we can assume Mike Bell will find a comfy seat on the bench after that choke job...
--Broncos doing a nice job on against the run, though they are selling out to do it...
--I am screaming about a holding call and the referee calls it. Not to mention the push off....
--Another sack for the Broncos, and quickly the Bears are actually out of field goal range...
--Third and a 1/2 mile for the Bears. Watch the screen...
--They run a screen, and the Bears should be in field goal range now...Damn near another holding penalty on the Bears...
--Gould drills it, but considering where the Bears started I consider it a success for the defense. BRONCOS 10 - Bears 6

Broncos Sixth Drive --

--One thing you cannot do against this Bears team...Hesitate....Do it and get killed...
--Now that's how you hold onto the football. Nice job for Hall. Weather is getting worse by the minute...
--Nice job by Jay just throwing the ball away....
--Way too hard there on the throw...Javon Walker has yet to be a factor today...

Bears Sixth Drive --

--More Bears mistakes will push Grossman back. Keep the turnovers coming...
--A key third down upcoming after the drop by Muhammed. Catching the ball is going to get harder and harder as the game goes on...
--Here come the boobirds, as the Bears run the ball on 3rd and long. Broncos should have solid field position. NO FUMBLES!

Broncos Seventh Drive --

--Broncos will get the ball to start the second half, so points here will go a long way...
--Both coaches can tell what type of game this is becoming. Whoever makes the fewest mistakes...
--TWO-MINUTE WARNING - BRONCOS 10 - Bears 6
--Both teams have no desire to throw it either, and holding penalties make it for naught...

Bears Seventh Drive --

--Sauerbrun has done an excellent job keeping the ball away from Hestor.
--Broncos need to get aggressive on defense.
--A Josh Mallard sighting...
--Kenny Peterson! Nice to see someone wearing #97 make a play for the Broncos this season..
--Damn...Ian Gold nearly picks it off and the Bears have to punt...

Broncos Eighth Drive --

--Andre Hall -- The ANTI-MIKE BELL -- great job running the screen, and a great job blocking by Brandon Marshall...
--Hall again...Damn, Shanny...give the kid a break!
--Nice play by Tillman...I thought that was going to be 7.
--Broncos need to turn these into 7....
--Cutler should have went right to the corner. Instead the Bears were able to catch up.....BRONCOS 13 - Bears 6
--Somehow I think that will come back to haunt us, leaving 8 points on the field in the first half.

Bears Eighth Drive --

--Let's not test Hestor here....
--Ok, that was a little too short...
--Peterson again....
--Broncos give up a bunch of yards, but it doesn't matter...

HALFTIME -- BRONCOS 13 - BEARS 6
