Sometimes I can get lost in the "fantasy" world that is professional sports. It doesn't take long for something tragic to happen to jerk me into reality, and another example of that happended today in Blacksburg, VA.
Details are still trickling in(ABC NEWS), but reports say a single shooter carrying two semi-automatic handguns, wearing a bullet-proof vest, shot at least 50 students and faculty, killing 29, in two different spots on the Virginia Tech University campus.
It is the worst tragedy of it's kind in American history, surpassing the infamous shootings at the University of Texas in 1966.
