With the 17th pick of the 2007 SBNation Mock NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select....
Leon Hall, CB - Michigan
The Jags made several plays to move up in order to pick up Reggie Nelson, but with Nelson gone Jacksonville had to "settle" on Hall, who'se draft tumble was more becuase of what other teams needed than his perfomrance or potential. Though not at the same level of Champ Bailey coming out of college, Hall is similar in style of play, being both a very good cover guy as well as an excellent DB against the run. At nearly 6-foot, 200 pounds, Hall has good size to go with his sub-4.4 speed, and should be ready to contribute immediately to the Jaguars defense, which, playing twice a year against the Colts, is always an area of focus.
