BILLS SECOND DRIVE cont.

--And the Broncos get the stop with Simeon Rice making an appearance and getting the batted ball. The Broncos get the ball back to the offense.

BRONCOS THIRD DRIVE

--The Bills just have no answer for Walker....It could be a huge day for #84...
--Denver takes their initial time out...I guess we can't say the defense isn't getting alot of rest...
--Someone let Erik Pears know that you aren't allowed to rest his stance. The penalty brings up a third and long...
--A dump-down doesn't get enough and the punt team will try and bury the Bills deep
--And that's the difference folks. Hixon lets the ball bounce and the Bills down it at the 1. McGhee steps up and catches it at the 15. Another bad punt, plain and simple.

BILLS THIRD DRIVE

--Nice coverage by Bly on Evans, and one positive so far is the pass defense. 7 yards allowed so far.
--Parrish is open, but Losman throws it into the ground. Another 3 and out, and all this action for the Bills defense will eventually take its toll...

BRONCOS FOURTH DRIVE

--The Broncos have whatever they want on those slant routes and should be able to eat up yardage at will....
--Once again Cutler needs to get that ball out front....Almost a nice grab by Marshall
--Brandon Stokely makes his first catch as a Bronco, on a back-footed throw by Cutler. Risky, but it works for the first down...
--This is the Travis Henry we have been waiting for....A powerful 15-yard run for Henry has the Broncos moving again...
--Cutler is behind a receiver again, this time to Walker...Something he needs to work on to be sure...
--Another bad pass by Cutler. Remember what I have said....Cutler is not accurate on short passes and screens....
--An impressive drive stops dead in it's tracks and the Broncos will try a long Field Goal...And it's good, with a little help from the right up-right. BILLS 7 - BRONCOS 6

BILLS FOURTH DRIVE

--The un-special teams rear their ugly head again...If it isn't for Champ Bailey, the team's best player, coming up with a big tackle the Bills would've scored again on a return. The Broncos HAVE GOT TO FIX THIS....
--Broncos have the reverse sniffed out, but Ian Gold, as he did so often last year, misses the tackle and the Bills are moving....
--5 yard penalty on the Bills, and what a nice thing when the yellow flags are kept off the field.
--The Broncos had Lynch stopped, but once again CANNOT TACKLE. Sure, the hard hit is nice, but only if you can knock the guy down. Too many head tackles....
--Here come the Bills...now inside the Red Zone
--TWO MINUTE WARNING -- with the Bills looking to add some points. Imperative that the Broncos as the very least hold the Bills to 3 points.
--Solid tackle by Jeff Shoate. Another big 3rd down...A turnover would be nice...
--Once again John Lynch comes to the rescue, getting the sack. A Broncos time out before the Bills attempt to go up by 4.
--The Bills don't get it, a huge life for the Broncos, and they'll get the ball back with a chance to score.

BRONCOS FIFTH DRIVE

--WHAT A THROW BY JAY CUTLER!!! A sweet completion to Stokely....
--Then the bad pass...Cutler rushes the pass after the low snap and it's intercepted. The trials and tribulations of a young QB...

BILLS FIFTH DRIVE

--Now it's the Bills that can extend the lead. What a turn of events...All part of the growing process for Cutler, who has seen bad interceptions cost the Broncos games before.
--Great coverage by Bly and the Bills will have a decision to make.
--No decision and the Bills will try a 53 yard field goal, only seconds after missing a 45 yard field goal...
--Buffalo really shooting themselves in the foot, and Buffalo may be better served trying a Hail Mary...
--Hopefully this doesn't actually help the Bills
--What a play by Dumervil on the interception and the game remains a 1-point affair. I know, I know...Dumervil is too small to be effective....

HALFTIME -- BUFFALO 7 - DENVER 6
