The Denver Broncos placed FB Spencer Larsen on the Reserve/Injured List this afternoon. Larsen injured his ankle in Oakland on Sunday. The team signed Offensive Lineman Stanley Daniels to Larsen's place on the 53 man roster.
Larsen, the 6'2", 243 lb. 3rd year Fullback played in 11 games, starting 5 this season for the Broncos. He had 3 rushes for 18 yards and 5 receptions for 51 yards, including a Touchdown in the victory over Kansas City in Week 10.
6' 4" , 320 lb. Daniels is a 1 year veteran of the NFL. Born 11/30/1984 in San Diego, CA, Stanley played football at Washington before jumping to the NFL in 2009.
Originally signed by the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2007, Daniels has also been a member of the New York Jets and Green Bay Packers.
He has appeared in two games for the Broncos and has been on their Practice Squad recently.
