Rules

1.  When commenting in this post, please DO NOT use the "subject" line for anything other than to announce official picks.  Limiting the use of that space will make the picks - and my announcement - stand out and therefore make the draft itself easier to follow.

2.  Representatives were asked to submit to me (via e-mail) an ordered target list for their respective teams at least 48 hours prior to the start of this mock draft.  Any lists received after that time may still be used, but will not be binding.

3.  If a team's representative is not available to make a selection and they either did not submit an ordered target list or said list is no longer applicable, I will then make the pick for them by simply selecting the best player available from NFL Draft Scout’s overall prospect rankings.  At my discretion, however, I may deviate slightly from strictly selecting BPA in order to accommodate for need; that said, I guarantee that all picks will be made in a timely fashion.

4.  When I announce that THE [LOCATION] [TEAM NAME] ARE NOW ON THE CLOCK, the respective representative will have five minutes to make their pick. Once the selection is recorded, I will then move things along by making the pertinent announcement; that process will continue until we conclude the mock drafting session, with possible breaks therein only if necessary.

5.  When an official pick is made, it will be announced in the exact format that follows: WITH THE [X] PICK IN THE DRAFT, THE [LOCATION] [TEAM NAME] SELECT: [PLAYER NAME], [POSITION], [SCHOOL].  Once again, this will be done in the "subject" line of the comment box and the message space will be left blank.  Comments on a pick should be made by replying to that official announcement, so long as you observe the general rules of conduct that govern this site when doing so.

6.  As soon as possible after making a selection, team representatives are required to e-mail a brief explanation of sorts to me.  I suggest that it is writen in the first person as an actual member of your chosen team’s management being asked about the pick in an interview.  Since I will compile these and post them alongside the respective picks, I ask that they be kept short.

7.  If the volume of comments in this post negatively affects our ability to use it, then I will publish an updated fresh one.  If that becomes necessary, I will announce the decision when I begin working on the new one and when it is posted.
