Prognostications (MHR Staff Members Pick Week 2 Winners)

The first week is in the books. John, Tim and Matt were the most proficient prognosticators (like the alliteration?) for the first week. They each scored a 10-5 record, while the rest of us trailed along at 8-7. The jury is out on whether or not they will continue to reign supreme. Some interesting notes from Week #1:

1)Three of the four AFC West teams lost, the lone exception being the Kansas City Chiefs (go figure that one out).

2)No AFC West team scored more than 21 points.

3)Two teams forced safeties -- Carolina vs the New York Giants, and Miami vs Buffalo.

4)One team scored a special teams touchdown -- Kansas City vs San Diego, a 94 yard punt return.

5)Two teams scored defensive touchdowns -- Seattle vs San Francisco - an interception return, and Washington vs Dallas - a fumble return.
