NFC Divisional Playoff Open Thread: Seahawks at Bears

Kickoff is at 11:00 am MST (1:00 pm EST) on FOX.

The Seahawks and Bears will fight it out at Soldier Field to see who advances to face the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game. The Seahawks are coming off an impressive 41-36 victory over the Saints, while the Bears are set to make their first playoff appearance since losing to the Colts in 2006 during Super Bowl XLI.

The Seahawks and Bears have already met in 2010. In week 6, the Seahawks came into Chicago and beat the Bears 23-20. During the game, the Seahawks appeared to have the game in hand, holding a 10 point lead with a little over 2 minutes remaining. However, they punted to Devin Hester, who then returned the ball for an 89 yard touchdown (the 13th return touchdown of his career) to bring the Bears within 3 points. The ensuing onside kick was recovered by the Seahawks and that pretty much ended the game.

Most notable, however, was the utter lack of pass protection from Chicago's offensive line. Jay Cutler was sacked 6 times (one for a safety) and completed only 17 out of 39 passes for 290 yards. It was the only game this season where Jay Cutler failed to throw either a touchdown or an interception. It was also the first of two road victories for the Seahawks in 2010.

Can the Seahawks steal another win from the Bears at Soldier Field? Only one way to find out...
