Kickoff is at 2:30 pm MST (4:30 pm EST) on CBS.
After this game, both AFC and NFC Championship games will be set. The winner will face the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship game. More importantly, we can finally finish up this Jets/Patriots smack talk. No more "losses are on me" press conferences. No more Belichick vs Rex Ryan. No more talking about feet...
In case you didn't get the memo, these teams hate each other. Division rivalries are usually intense, but the relationship between the Jets and Patriots franchises has been toxic, as of late. Bart Scott threatened Wes Welker, saying that his days in a uniform are "numbered". Antonio Cromartie used vulgar language to describe Tom Brady. Rex Ryan said that Peyton Manning works a lot harder than Tom Brady. Wes Welker talked about feet, evidently to slander Rex Ryan.
The list goes on... but what we do know is that none of it matters once the ball is kicked off. It's a game of football and - no matter what anyone tells you - trash talk has never put a single point on the scoreboard.
