With the #23 Pick in the 2011 MHR Community Mock Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles Select CB Jimmy Smith, Colorado

Smith has some character issues, but at this point in the draft, he adds a guy with fantastic physical ability to play alongside Asante Samuel for the Eagles. At 6'2" 210 pounds, Smith has excellent size to go along with his sub-4.4 speed in the 40 yard dash, and he had solid production for the Buffaloes. If he checks out in the interview process, I fully expect him to be a first round pick and he could start immediately for the Eagles.

Scouting report:

Jimmy Smith is going to gain momentum as the draft draws closer. Playing at Colorado on a losing team did not give him the chance to showcase his skills on the national stage in big games like Patrick Peterson (LSU) and Prince Amukamara (Nebraska). However, he has the size and speed combination to open eyes during the rest of the evaluation process. His physical style lends itself to man coverage, and while he is not going to knock anyone out with a bit hit, he is a feisty tackler. He is also useful in run support.
