Quick Take:
Primarily a runstopping force in a 4-3, he has the strength, size and attitude to control the line of scrimmage. Fundamentally sound, has taken coaching well and has room to learn more. Very good at anticipating blocks makes him excellent at following zone plays, stretch runs, and misdirection boots, and has shown an excellent anchor vs. double teams and when handling two gaps. Because of this, his greatest value would be as a 5-tech DL, however, he has tremendous upside and impact for a 4-3 as well. EFX has apparently ruled out any character red flags due to 2 missed games due to suspension in 2010: "We talked to him about it today, and he told us the whole deal," Elway said. "That is not a concern for us."

What is Denver's Interest In Him?
High.
Marcell will be in very strong consideration for the #2 overall pick, and could last as long as #4 overall in a trade down scenario. Not a perfect schematic fit, but has no red flags.
