2011 Denver Broncos Draft Cameos: Mikel LeShoure

Private Workout:  Yes
Private Visit to Team Facility:  No
Attended Proday:  No

Quick Take:

Between the tackles downhill runner, who has run out of the spread and behind lead blockers.  Strong lower body that keeps churning and makes him difficult to tackle.  Kept fresh as part of a 3-back rotation, only adequate as a blocker in pass protection and will need additional work there to get a handle on the complex assignments in McCoy's offense.  Solid back overall with a first round grade who will likely be available in round 2.  Decent receiver who too often lets the ball get into his body.  May have trouble with fumbling at the next level, as he needs to learn to switch the ball to the outside arm when getting outside on a defender.

Where He Goes in the Draft:

Middle of 2nd round.

What is Denver's Interest In Him?

High.

He would be a great complement to Moreno, and vice versa.  Denver will likely pass at #36 but will be looking for him to still be available at the #46 slot.
