Quick Take:
Good overall athlete with a great arm and the ability to make plays with his feet. Ran a modified Pistol offense, halfway between shotgun and under center, and ran a power option game out of it for a spread receiving scheme. Mastered some difficult concepts, and should be able to adjust his knowledge base to more traditional (re: boring) NFL offenses. Very good deep ball accuracy, has the ability to make some explosive plays in the passing game. Lots of velocity on his ball. Good at moving to keep a play alive, and knows how to keep his eyes downfield looking for the play. Self-motivated and a hardworker, should be able to handle the long way around to become an NFL QB.
Where He Goes in the Draft:

What is Denver's Interest In Him?
High.
Kaepernick has a lot of the traits that are ideal for the Broncos current situation: he can get better on the bench or in the game both, he has high accuracy, he can take the big shots required of Fox's preferred offensive passing scheme, and he could be had at #67, or with a minor trade up into the bottom of the second. In my opinion, even though I like other QBs in this draft more, this is the best move Denver can make if drafting a QB is something they want to do. it isn't a throwaway pick, and it isn't an expensive use of resources. Ideally Denver acquires an extra pick to make this selection with however...
