Quick Take:

If Knowshon had shown a tendency for getting injured at Georgia, he might have gotten projected where Murray is now. Murray is very versatile, a stiff-arm, slippery, evasive type of runner, with good speed. Reliable playmaker who was always part of a tandem through his four year career. Played in a spread offense, has played WR and has operated the Wildcat. Clutch in the 4th quarter. Good interior vision, body lean, runs behind his pads, and has good production as a kick returner. Good hands, natural receiver out of the backfield. Has had knee and hamstring issues in the past, but nothing recently.

Where He Goes in the Draft:

Bottom of the third round

What is Denver's Interest In Him?

Medium.

No doubt he is on Denver's board for the late 3rd and 4th round, where they have no picks, but they likely aren't terribly motivated to move around just for him. He is one of several players at the Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Kansas State prodays who were probably scheduled for private workouts in order to avoid scheduling conflicts during the Broncos' proday tours. Bringing him in is more a testament to wanting to have a solid board for their RB prospects, than of their interest in him specifically. Having said that, he does fit what they want to do on offense. Very well.
