Quick Take:

Rare vertical speed, made his name running deep vertical routes and corners at his level of competition simply couldn't keep up.  Got behind coverages on a regular basis.  Similar to Steve Smith (Carolina) in his ability to catch the ball over either shoulder, with no blind spots in his game.  Very good hands, plucks the ball out of the air, and reaches up to pull in arcing balls.  Adjust well to the ball underneath, helps his QB out going after the low ball, or after balls kept out in front.  Barely adequate as a blocker, not very strong, and can be bullied in press coverage.  Flashes the slipperiness to beat the jam but needs to be drilled in technique, and in route running.  Runs small across the middle, has shown short arms at time in that role.  Very raw, but will be 25 as a rookie.

Where He Goes in the Draft:

Bottom of the 3rd round.

What is Denver's Interest In Him?

Medium.

Team speed doesn't just mean the LBs, and a WR beside Lloyd who can get behind coverages would be a huge addition to the already potent arsenal of weapons in Denver.  A guy like Gates gets drafted for the future, but his speed will push him out of the fourth and into the late 3rd, where Denver remains pickless.  Probably worth moving for, but only in the 4th.
