Quick Take:
Speedy DB, needs to get into a strength program that can finish off the development of his frame. Can't currently play to his elite speed levels and lost his starting position as as senior. Below adequate tackling ability, his strength at this point is getting up in press coverage and then using his speed to stay with the receiver down the field. Can be a disruptive player and is difficult to beat in a straight line.
Where He Goes in the Draft:
Middle of 4th round
What is Denver's Interest In Him?
Medium.
The speed alone is worthy of a look, and could lead to Van Dyke being overdrafted, as he is a developmental corner who will only be half-effective on STs, until he starts getting behind his pads a bit and improving his tackling. Denver should let him fall and only consider him at #186 at the earliest. A sixth rounder may be a lot to spend on a player almost destined to go to the practice squad, but you can't coach speed.

[Note: All players in the table are ranked by overall grade within their round grouping, however, the round groupings are based on where this player will likely be drafted based on where teams are currently selecting in the draft. Therefore a player is ranked within a group by his level of ability, but players in nearby groupings may have higher or lower actual grades, despite being in a different group.
