Quick Take:

Standard new wave TE that is more receiver than blocker.  Led his team in receiving as a sophomore, and nearly half of all his catches have gone for a first down.  Averaged 11.6 YPC in 2010, and earned the Mackey Award.  Excellent hands, doesn't let the ball get into his body.  Also willing to make the tough catch in traffic, takes hits and holds on.  Good YAC runner, has open field instincts of a WR.  Able to handle an edge in pass protection, but mostly relies on redirection.  Not going to stand in against NFL DEs in the running game, and not big enough to hold the edge in the NFL.  Moves well, very smooth in his routes, doesn't bob the head to give away his breaks and cuts.  fast enough to get deep in the seam.  Plays well against both man and zone coverage.

Where He Goes in the Draft:

Middle of 4th round.

What is Denver's Interest In Him?

High.

Denver has to be interested in a TE upgrade, and while they can't afford to go shopping at the top of the draft, having the 3rd best TE available still there in the 4th would be a great excuse to get back into the 4th round.
