Denver Broncos Training Camp 2011: Broncos Set To Start Camp On Wednesday Or Friday

UPDATE: NFL Network is now saying the Broncos - and the rest of the NFL - will start Training Camp on Friday. All of this is liquid, of course... stay tuned!

According to NFLNetwork, the Denver Broncos will begin Training Camp on Wednesday, July 27. The Broncos are one of 10 teams that plan on starting on Wednesday according to the tweet below:

For those wondering, Matt Pomeroy is a head of NFL Network Research, so he is definitely plugged in to what is going on. The date is, in a way, predetermined by when teams play their first preseason game. For the Broncos, that date is August 11. Of course, the Broncos could have decided to wait until Thursday or Friday, but with a new coaching staff, a quarterback situation in flux and a host of new players likely to be on the team, the sooner the better!
