Broncos Defensive Tackles Marcus Thomas, Ty Warren Injured In Practice Monday

Bronco’s defensive tackle Ty Warren will have an MRI done on his triceps to see if the injury that occurred in practice is serious. The Broncos fear that the first year Bronco’s injury could be serious.

Warren didn’t play last year for the Patriots after having hip surgery. Warren left the field Monday soon after defensive tackle Marcus Thomas also left with a strained pectoral. Both players were on the first team defense on Monday.

Warren was given a two year, $8 million contract, the most expensive contract the Broncos handed out in the short free agency period. Marcus Thomas was re-signed to a one year, $1 million deal.

If both Thomas and Warren's injuries are serious, it would hurt the already weak position the Broncos are working so hard to try and fix. Hopefully both players are okay and are ready to go for Monday Night football against Oakland.
