The Broncos and Seahawks have a history against each other. The two foes used to belong in the same division until re-alignment moved Seattle to the NFC West. 

  • The last time these two teams played was last season (2010). The Broncos took advantage of 3 Matt Hasselbeck interceptions to win 31-13. Demaryius Thomas made his NFL debut in that game catching 8 balls and one touchdown. Kyle Orton had an outstanding game completing 25-35 passes and throwing for 307 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Broncos improved to 1-1 after the game while Seattle fell to 1-1.
  • All-Time the Broncos are leading the series against the Seahawks with a record of 34-18. The Broncos against the Seahawks are 21-5 at home and 13-13 on the road.  In the preseason, the Broncos are 7-1 against the Seahawks winning the first 7 until losing in 2009 27-13. 
  • The Broncos have the leagues longest scoring streak scoring points in games at 293 games. This streak is second all time and started in 1992 against the Seahawks.
  • The last time the Broncos have had two 100 yard rushers against them was against Seattle on December 11 1988. The rushers were Curt Warner and John Williams.
  • Also the last time any player had four rushing touchdowns against the Broncos was Curt Warner for Seattle
  • The last time one player had four sacks was Michael Sinclair for the Seahawks.
  • The last time a team has blocked a punt for a touchdown was Seattle was Alex Bannister in 2001.
  • On December 12th, 1995, Glyn Milburn for the Broncos set the Broncos record for most combined yardage in a game( returns,rushing receiving) (221,45,228) against the Seahawks
  • On November 26th, 2000 Mike Anderson became second on the Broncos in longest scoring run with an 80 yard rush. It is the Broncos record for run by a rookie.
  • The record for longest non-scoring run is by Olandis Gary in 1999 with a 71 yard run against Seattle. Terrell Davis had a 70 yard run a year earlier against Seattle
  • In 1998 Terrell Davis ran for 178 yards to surpass 2000 yards in a season
  • In the same game John Elway threw for his 300th career touchdown.
  • Also in that very same game, Ed McCaffery and Rod Smith both went over 1000 yards on the season and Shannon Sharpe became third on the all time tight end receiving list.
  • The Broncos record for most points in one half came against Seattle scoring 38 in the first half on November 26th, 1989
  • In 1983 the Broncos forced the Seahawks to fumble the ball 7 times, a team record.
  • In 1998 and 2000, Terrell Davis and Mike Anderson both rushed for 100 yards in one quarter respectively 
  • The biggest deficit the Broncos have ever overcome was 34-10 in the third quarter and they came back to win 38-34.
  • Elways single game passing high was 432 yards against Seattle on December 20th 1985.
