Broncos 2011 Invesco Scrimmage Picture Post

All photos by Kaptain Kirk 8/7/11

I was told be more than a few of you to just forget about writing a report for the Broncos Stadium practice, so I took it to heart and just enjoyed myself. I was able to share it with fellow staffer Brian Shrout and his wife and I had a good time. However, I did take a few pictures while I was there. They are just random and don't have any particular theme to them. I wasn't really trying to get anything in particular, just anything different from what I've been getting in Training Camp. And while I'm no professional photographer and my camera isn't the best quality, I think you will enjoy some visual feedback with what you've heard reported from the days events. So here we go. Ready break.

This is early on when the players are beginning to warm up. You would think they were warm enough already since it was about 98 degrees there.

I couldn't get all the QB's in one picture. Brady Quinn was playing catch with Kyle. So if you put this picture to the left of the previous one, the portrait is complete.

Steven Hauschka, Britton Colquitt and Lonie Paxton just practice kicked a Field Goal.

Stretching time.

More of the stretch interval.

And one more for good measure.

This was an attempt to get a picture of John, but Quinton Carter moved at the last second. If you notice the #84 Shannon Sharpe jersey hanging down, John is partially seen behind the dreadlock warrior.

Even though it's a little blurry, There is John (right in the middle, just to the right of that banner hanging down) taking a picture.

A little one on one drill with some sideline contact. The ball boy was able to get through it unscathed.

Eddie Royal waiting for a punt return opportunity.

And of course I didn't think I got a very good shot, so I took another.

And another for good measure.

This is what Eddie was waiting on.

I'm not smiling because this picture didn't come out too well.

I did have fun, but was disappointed that Kyle Orton and Tim Tebow were booed by the crowd. It just didn't make sense to me that people would show up to do that.

Go Broncos!
