FOX SPORTS - 13 (LAST WEEK: 17)

Welcome back Peyton Manning. And just in time too, as the Broncos travel to Foxboro. Looking forward to another classic Manning/Brady showdown.

YAHOO SPORTS - 8 - (LAST WEEK: 8)

Peyton Manning threw the football 38 times this week, which doesn't seem like a huge number until you consider that the Broncos won 37-6 and probably didn't need to throw the ball more than 15 times. I know it's not John Fox's style, but I think the sooner the Broncos embrace a no-huddle, pass-first wing-it-around offense, the better off they'll be. You've got Peyton Manning. Turn him loose. You don't buy a Maserati and then calmly drive the speed limit on your way to work every day.

Welcome back, Peyton Manning. We know the Raiders' pass defense is beyond terrible, but 30/38 for 338 yards and three scores? There's a handful of starting NFL quarterbacks that couldn't accomplish that line against thin air. A Mastery performance of 503 total yards from Manning's offense.

There you have it. Frankly, I think that was a convincing win and put as in the 10-12 area. We have lost to good teams and had a huge blowout win last week. This week is big for the Broncos because to be the best, you have to beat the best. I expect the Broncos to win this week and will be surprised if they do not.
