ESPN - 12 (LAST WEEK 12)
At 3-3 the Broncos are tied with San Diego atop the AFC West, but now their schedule gets easier. They should be the favorite to win it.
FOX SPORTS- 11 (LAST WEEK 13)
Having already played Big Ben, Matt Ryan, Matt Schaub, Tom Brady and Phillip Rivers in five of their first six games, they will now have to host Drew Brees and the Saints. Tough duty for a defense that is called on to stop this level of or QB play week in and week out.
CBS SPORTS - 10 (LAST WEEK 10)
They come off their bye feeling good atop the AFC West after navigating a tough early schedule. It looks like Peyton Manning is the same guy.
YAHOO SPORTS - 10
Peyton should be salivating for opportunity to throw vs. Saints' "D."
PRO FOOTBALL TALK - 11
Of all the .500 teams in the AFC, the Broncos are the best suited to rise to the top.
NFL.COM - 11 (LAST WEEK 11)
Bye week in Denver, so the Broncos stay put at 11, just a tick ahead of Pittsburgh, their first victim of the season. Word is Eric Decker spent the weekend with some imaginary friends. Good deal, because the imaginary crowd he was hanging around before was really tripping him up.
SB NATION - 12 (LAST WEEK 11)
A big comeback win over the Chargers followed by a bye week is probably just what the Broncos need.
These are all pretty solid rankings. Did not expect a lot of change in these considering we did not play. If the Broncos can get above .500 for the first time since after week 1, this team can roll. This is a big game despite it being against an NFC team. The Broncos can get some big momentum heading into the second half of the season with a win this week. Hope they do not take the Saints lightly because of their record.
