Broncos QB Peyton Manning nominated for FedEx Air Player of the week

Tom Brady and Matthew Stafford round out the other nominees for week 8

Ron Chenoy-US PRESSWIRE

Tom Brady went 23-35 for 304 yards and four TD's in his teams dismantling of the St. Louis Rams across the pond.

Matthew Stafford was 34-49 for 252 yards and three touchdowns as his Lions came from behind to beat the Seattle Seahawks 28-24. Stafford also had a rushing TD.

Peyton Manning led our Broncos in dominating fashion to a victory against The New Orleans Saints. He became just the second player in NFL history to pass for 300 yards and 3 TD's in four consecutive games. Peyton Manning is currently top 5 amongst all NFL QB's in completion percentage, yards, average per attempt, TD's, and QB rating.

Manning is on pace to complete about 400 passes which would best Jay Cutler's single season franchise record of 384 back in 2008. Manning is also on pace to set single season franchise records in completion percentage, yards (4526 Cutler, 2008), TD's (Elway and Plummer 27 in 1997 and 2004 respectively), and QB rating (Griese 102.9, 2000).

He's got my vote, how about you Broncos Country? Voting is open until 1PM MDT on Friday, November 2nd. The winners will be announced on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com. When voting please remember that Manning is running under the "Mile High Salute" platform and will continue to work hard for all Orange and Blue families that seek football greatness from their beloved Broncos.
