Linebacker D.J. Williams has added an additional three games to his already existing six game suspension. According to Denver 9 News NBC affiliate:
Williams was punished for violating the league's policy and program for substances of abuse following his conviction in August of driving while ability impaired.
That means Williams won't be able to return to Broncos practice till November 12, 2012.
Williams was consistently a team captain until 2010 when he was arrested for a DUI and the team took his captaincy away. He has also lead the Broncos in tackles four of the past five years and has played every linebacker position since joining the Broncos in the 2004 draft.
