Good evening, Broncos fans!
Yesterday, we all but locked up the AFC West after smashing the San Diego Chargers. The Denver defense has stepped up in a big way the past few weeks and the offense, despite looking listless for large portions of the game, managed to put up 30 points on the scoreboard.
If the Broncos can put up 30 points on a day where they looked "a little off", the opposition should hate to see the Broncos offense on a good day.
Tonight, we take a look at some NFC powerhouses going to war.
The Chicago Bears travel to the west coast to take on the San Francisco 49ers in Candlestick Park. The Bears lead the NFC North with a 7-2 record and the 49ers lead the NFC West with a 6-2-1 record (after tying the Rams last week). These teams are playing for playoff seeding, which makes the match up that much more important.
It should be fun to watch our old friend, Jay Cutler, play Alex Smith. (Redacted, due to the fact that both players are out with a concussion.)
It should be fun to watch Colin Kaepernick face Jason Campbell try to not turn the ball over against two of the best defenses in the NFL.
